Vice President of Business Development

We’re seeking a senior salesperson to join our growing team! The position is a Senior Vice President or Vice President of Business Development, depending on fit and experience. This person will be responsible for marketing and selling the Advyzon platform to the advisor community within a specific geographic territory. The chosen candidate will develop strong relationships, uncover new opportunities and do what it takes to help Advyzon grow. Candidates must be self-starters with strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. This position will require some travel and will be based in Chicago or the Northeastern US.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively build and manage sales pipeline
  • Identify and uncover new opportunities
  • Conduct in-person or web-based demonstrations of Advyzon
  • Assist with creating marketing content for outbound marketing campaigns
  • Build a network of industry partners or centers of influence
  • Attend regional or national conferences as needed
  • Diligent follow up with prospects
  • Track and manage all leads and opportunities within our CRM
  • Work closely with the relationship management, support and development teams to ensure a great experience for our users
  • Manage client relationship and retention efforts

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have at least five years of sales experience in the financial technology (preferred) or investment industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual revenue or sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • The ability to deliver professional presentations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to work remotely

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; MBA, CFP a plus
  • Working knowledge of the financial technology industry
  

Sales Consultant

We’re seeking salespeople to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude. They must be organized, have a client-first mentality, professional, personable, proactive and both independent yet a team player. General knowledge of the financial services Industry is important. Specific knowledge of registered investment advisors and their technology tools is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proactive outreach to financial advisory firms with the purpose of learning about their current technology and determining if Advyzon would be a potential solution for their firm.
  • Consult with prospects by asking questions about operations, process, current technology solutions, while understanding and uncovering pain points

Additional responsibilities include assisting senior team with marketing campaign design and implementation, helping prospects with Advyzon trial subscriptions, and various sales related administrative tasks.

Client Relationship Manager

We're seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for managing key relationships and helping drive product adoption among new users that join our platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes to monitor all on-boarding projects while developing new client relationships during product implementation stage.
  • Help drive product adoption, share best practices and implement growth and optimization strategies for maximum value and success within customer user base.
  • Engage external client users in formal training settings and provide expert day-to-day servicing on all product aspects.
  • Contribute to product research, service-improvement initiatives, and other projects as needed as well as provide feedback to the software development team for technical-related product enhancements.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Financial Services; Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Information Systems degrees preferred. (Recent graduates welcome). Previous work experience in the Financial Services / Finance industry is a plus.
  • Hold a deep understanding of investment management and/or financial services in order to anticipate the context of user’s needs.
  • Aptitude and willingness to gain complete knowledge of software capabilities in order to provide excellent service to platform users.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks based on the needs of the business and switch gears quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer support focus and the ability to exercise sound professional judgement while working with both external users, and internal operational and finance technical teams.
  • Proven organizational skills, and the keen ability to understand and juggle different business priorities that provide the most value to the organization.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel.

Job Details:

  • Develop our flagship web-based Advyzon product, with focus on either back-end or front-end, using HTML5, C++/C/Java, Vue and Ruby on Rails
  • Demonstrated success in one’s professional work and/or program of study
  • Strong logical thinking skills with a math, physics, computer science or engineering background and/or academic major.
  • Demonstrated self-motivated attitude and willingness to do whatever takes to get it done
  • Compensation is commensurate with one’s skills/contribution
